Restoration & Heritage Listing Work
Ruiz Constructions has extensive experience and intimate knowledge of the legalities involved in this specialised field.
Work undertaken includes:
- An extension of a heritage listed property in Bungendore NSW, carried out in partnership with Eric Martin and Associates architects. High level communication with the NSW Heritage Office ensured that Minimum Standards of Maintenance and Repair as specified by the Heritage Act 1977 were implemented across the project. Ruiz Constructions provided a total solution.
- Refurbishment and design of the old Coggins Bakery in Braddon, to retain its significance as a ‘building of interest’. Project scope involved careful restoration of both the exterior and interior of the structure to minimise impact on the aesthetics and period style of the building’s façade.
- Assistance provided to a local developer, to retain the significant heritage characteristics of a house in Braddon.
